Yellow + Purple

Grape hyacinths and daffodils are blooming like crazy here in Virginia, and it got me thinking about yellow and purple used together in interiors. It's a combination you don't see very often.

I can't say I'm swooning over any of those rooms. Maybe purple and yellow are best mixed in small doses? Like my own version:  just a few grape hyacinths from my garden, sitting in purple splendor in my yellow kitchen.

Looks like spring to me.
